What can I hire at Stoked Surf School?
We offer soft boards, intermediate boards and custom hardboards, as well as bodyboards and full wetsuit packages. Extras include boots, gloves and hoods for colder days. All equipment is from trusted brands including Mick Fanning, Softech, Surfboards UK, C-Skins, Alder and Gul.
How much does surfboard hire cost?
Soft boards start at £15 for one day. Intermediate boards are from £20 per day, and custom hardboards from £25 per day. Multi-day hire is better value: a full week on a soft board is £70. Wetsuits cost from £10 per day (kids) and £12.50 per day (adults).
Do I need surfing experience to hire?
No. Our soft boards work well for beginners and anyone still building confidence in the water. If you are more experienced, intermediate boards and custom hardboards are also available.
How long can I hire equipment for?
We offer hire from one day up to seven days, with daily add-on rates for longer stays. Equipment can be collected and returned at our base throughout the season.
What is included with my hire?
Hire includes the equipment itself plus access to our on-site changing facilities and secure storage area, so you can leave your kit safely while you surf.
Where is the hire based?
We are based at Perranporth Beach, right next to the main beach car park. The hire point is just a short walk from the water.
Do you offer hire for children?
Yes. Kids' wetsuits are available for hire, along with bodyboards and suitable equipment for younger riders.
Do I need to book in advance?
Walk-ins are welcome throughout the season (April to October). During busy summer periods, booking ahead is a good idea to make sure the kit you want is available.
