Perranporth Carnival Week 2024

Perranporth Carnival Week is back and promises to be an exciting event for locals and visitors alike! From 22nd to 27th July, our vibrant town will come alive with a range of festivities, activities, and community events.

If you're a local, on holiday or just in Perranporth for the surf, this annual celebration showcases the best of Perranporth's culture, community spirit, and scenic beauty, making it the perfect time to visit.

Main Events

Monday, 22nd July: Classic Cars

One for the motor enthusiasts! The carnival kicks off with a showcase of classic and lovingly restored cars at the promenade car park at 7PM. 

Tuesday, 23rd July: Fire Station Open Evening

Perranporth Community Fire Station are having an open evening (6:30PM - 8:30PM) where you and the family can come down to look around, meet the crew and take a closer look and the engine, support vehicles and equipment. 

Wednesday, 24th July: Duck Race & Carnival Royalty Crowning

Its time to enjoy Perranporth's famous duck races! Being held every Wednesday until the end of August, you can have the chance at choosing a duck to win from 6PM with the race taking place at 7PM.

Also happening on the day is the Carnival Royalty Crowning ceremony, where the town crowns its King, Queen and Fairy King & Queen. Join in the fun!

Friday, 26th July: Children's Disco

Perranporth Methodist Hall is hosting a Children's Disco! From 5PM - 7PM, under 11s can enjoy music and dancing from a local DJ, along with a raffle. Refreshments are also available, so get the kids ready to party!

Saturday, 27th July: Carnival Day 

It's time for the main event! Saturday 27th of July will see Perranporth transformed as we celebrate our carnival in full swing.  From costumes to floats, and prizes given out for the best, Perranporth will come together to celebrate our community spirit. 

The procession starts at 7PM from Bolenna Park, so come and join us as we celebrate our hometown!

Stoked Surf School's New Premises
